About The Position

The Radiology Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking candidates for full-time positions in its Breast Imaging Radiology Division. The successful candidate will join a department of more than 80 faculty serving BIDMC’s main campus and a network of community hospitals and outpatient locations. The role focuses on mammography at BIDMC in Boston, Massachusetts, and includes a wide range of breast imaging studies and procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI, needle localization, and biopsy. Coverage is weekdays only; evenings and weekends are not required.

The Radiology Department will participate in a clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians to establish a freestanding adult inpatient cancer hospital. Once the collaboration is complete, the position will serve as a future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multispecialty team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Fellowship training in breast imaging.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and a wide range of breast imaging studies and procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, ultrasound, MRI, needle localization, and biopsy.
• Serve as a future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multispecialty team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute once the BIDMC-DFCI collaboration is complete.
