About The Position

Summit Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible general surgeon with breast fellowship training, or a general surgeon with significant experience in a breast surgery-focused practice. You will be joining a team of 6 very well-respected general surgeons within Summit Health, providing unmatched surgical care to the greater Central Oregon community. Our breast surgeons partner with a robust multidisciplinary team with a collaborative community of oncology professionals that includes surgical, medical and radiation oncologists, breast radiologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons along with nurse navigators. Summit Health is a physician led and professionally managed multispecialty group practice in Central Oregon with locations in Bend, Redmond, and Sisters. Summit Health includes more than 200 providers across 40 specialties and services providing care to a growing primary care population of more than 62,000 primary care attributed lives. The medical group has become the quality-of-care leader in Central Oregon achieving a 4.9-star rating or better on nearly all value-based contracts, is in the upper decile for customer satisfaction and earned a perfect Medicare Quality (MIPS) score of 100 out of 100 available points for 2022 and 2025.
