About The Position
Women & Infants Hospital is seeking a Breast Surgeon to join its Breast Health Program in Providence, Rhode Island. The program offers comprehensive breast health services, including mammography, breast MRI, surgery, genetic counseling and prevention, lymphedema care, rehabilitation, survivorship programs, and integrative therapy services. The surgeon will diagnose and surgically treat benign and malignant breast diseases, with a focus on breast cancer care, and participate in a rotational second-call schedule. The role offers a potential academic appointment with Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School and opportunities to precept medical students, residents, and fellows. The health system uses EPIC.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and surgically treat benign and malignant breast diseases, focusing on breast cancer care.
- Participate in rotational second call.

- Precept medical students, residents, and fellows, as opportunities allow.
