About The Position

Solace is hiring a physician residing in Rhode Island to build strong relationships with patients and facilitate an exceptional advocacy experience. The physician will collaborate with healthcare advocates to help patients achieve their health goals and contribute to developing a patient care program designed to serve a vulnerable population. Applicants must be based in the United States and must have a DEA license and HAP.

Requirements

• Must reside in Rhode Island and be based in the United States.
• Must have a DEA license and HAP.
• Board certification in family medicine, internal medicine, or another relevant specialty.
• Strong clinical and organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple tasks and work under pressure while maintaining organized communications and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening and empathy.
• Comfort working with elderly patients and individuals experiencing social determinants of health.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
• Strong bias toward action and execution, with willingness to provide feedback.
• Ability to embrace change and iteration as business, strategy, organization, and priorities evolve.

Responsibilities

• Learn Solace’s systems, tools, technology, partners, and expectations while applying clinical expertise in every interaction.
• Identify and prioritize patients’ needs and maintain a streamlined care continuum.
• Oversee patient care plans in partnership with healthcare advocates, addressing social determinants of health such as food resources, transportation access, and support at home.
