About The Position
The Inn at Hastings Park, located in Lexington, Massachusetts, is seeking a breakfast/lunch line cook. This role involves setting up the continental breakfast, cooking a la carte items on the hot line for both breakfast and lunch services. Additionally, the cook will assist with stocking food orders, preparing for dinner service, and undertaking cleaning tasks during downtime.
Requirements
- Working level of Kitchen English. Must be able to read tickets and speak to servers about ticket issues
- Hot Line Cook experience
- Sense of urgency
- Familiar with industry’s best practices

Responsibilities
- Set up continental breakfast
- Cook hot breakfast option
- Cook the hot line during lunch
- Weekly deep clean
- Changing Fryer Oil
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Put away food order
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
