About The Position

The Breakfast Cook helps with station assignments, maintains mise en place, and prepares hot and cold breakfast foods according to Food & Beverage department specifications. This is a regular, full-time, year-round position scheduled for four days per week. The position reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and pays $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, with actual pay dependent on budget and experience. Applications are accepted until November 1, 2026.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Understanding of how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills to ensure timely preparation and service.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy morning hours, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or be on one’s feet for extended periods.
Ability to work in wet, hot, and humid conditions for extended periods and walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, individually or with assistance.

Nice To Haves

Two years of food preparation experience.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Cook breakfast foods, including eggs and breakfast meats.
Set up the station and mise en place to the Chef’s specifications.
May work at sauté, grill, and roasting stations.
Help organize kitchen items, including dry goods, kitchen equipment, storage containers, cleaning supplies, and food deliveries.
Set up, work, and break down the station.
Maintain station cleanliness throughout the shift.
Submit production needs for the following day by the end of the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
