About The Position

Assist the Outlet Manager in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and providing guests with stellar service during breakfast. This is a part-time position at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego Bay - Downtown. The hourly salary range is $25.00–$25.50, and the position is not eligible for tips, service charges, or a discretionary performance bonus.

Requirements

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise transport up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing a maximum of 150 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style for different audiences such as supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Responsibilities

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting; promptly and consistently reset service ware.
Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including necessary equipment such as silverware, linen, and condiments.
Attend to guests during their breakfast experience and replenish items as necessary.
Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
