Requirements

• High level of attention to detail in writing is required.
• Proofreading or editing skill set is a plus.
• Must have ability to manage deadlines with multiple priorities, work under pressure, and appropriately handle confidential information.
• Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of personnel in the firm.
• Must appreciate high volume in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and audits all breakdowns before client checks are written.
• Must comply with required performance metrics.
• Create and/or maintain meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files.
• Analyze and complete final settlement breakdowns.
• Meet deadlines.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
• Strong communication with attorneys is required to complete audits when errors are discovered.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Perform general accounting tasks as necessary.
