About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a skilled musician and dedicated educator to teach private music lessons. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, helping them develop their musical abilities and build a lasting relationship with music. The role includes communicating with students and parents about goals and progress and coordinating with store teams on lesson scheduling and student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and inspiring learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of music teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8+ years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
