About The Position

Every Man Jack is looking for a Brand Strategist who thinks in consumer truth and executes in culture. This person is the consumer lens for the Marketing organization, the one who understands who our guy is, what he cares about, what moves him, and how to translate that into marketing that earns his attention. You are a campaign builder, a cultural detector, and a creative collaborator who makes the work stronger at every stage. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Integrated Marketing, you will sit at the intersection of consumer insight, cultural intelligence, and cross-channel strategy. You will help lead how we ideate campaigns, build integrated marketing programs, and show up in the moments that matter to our consumer. This role requires equal parts strategic rigor and creative instinct, and the ability to move fast.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing, or consumer insights, ideally at a challenger consumer brand or agency that specializes in one
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of the millennial male consumer: his identity, his culture, the things he loves, and how he engages with brands
  • Proven ability to lead campaign ideation, with a demonstrated track record of building marketing programs from strategy through execution for a male consumer brand
  • Strong cross-channel instincts across organic social, earned media, creator, and paid marketing
  • A genuine feel for culture: you know what is happening in sport, outdoor, fitness, and men's lifestyle before it is mainstream
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who can make a strong case for an idea and makes the people around them better
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where you are building and executing simultaneously
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the team's consumer expert and cultural antenna, continuously monitoring how our consumer lives, what he is paying attention to, and where EMJ has permission to show up
  • Lead weekly cultural listening sessions and translate findings into actionable opportunities across channels
  • Develop and maintain brand voice and channel-specific expression guidelines that enable the team to move at the speed of culture without escalation
  • Identify cultural, community, and partnership moments that align with our "For Men Who Put in the Work" brand proposition before they peak
  • Lead ideation for integrated marketing campaigns, bringing a sharp consumer POV into the room from the beginning, not after the brief is written
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing, Paid Media, Creator Marketing, and PR to develop strategies that work across channels, not siloed executions bolted together
  • Build the strategic architecture for how campaigns come to life: who we work with, what content we make, which moments we activate on, and how we measure success
  • Contribute to integrated campaign briefs so strategy is built in from the start, not connected after the fact
  • Lead concepting sessions and articulate clear creative rationale grounded in consumer insight
  • Guide teams through messaging, visual direction, and channel implications to make the work sharper and more resonant
  • Partner with creative, talent, and agency partners to ensure strategy translates into content that actually connects
  • Pressure-test briefs and creative before they go out, asking whether this is the right idea for this consumer at this moment
