About The Position

Zions Bank is seeking a Branch Relationship Banker to provide full-service banking to new and existing customers in a branch, with a primary focus on sales and service. The role offers hands-on branch experience and opportunities for growth and exposure to retail leadership. The banker builds and maintains customer relationships through personalized service, identifies customer needs, and connects clients with relevant banking products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in sales, teller work, new accounts, loan processing, or other directly related experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet the qualifications.
• Working knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
• Solid knowledge of retail products and services.
• Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
• Proven customer service, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills.
• Solid mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

• Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service banking services for new and existing branch customers, primarily focused on sales and service.
• Open new accounts and consumer loans, and refer customers to other banking products as appropriate.
• Resolve client concerns directly or refer clients to appropriate bank departments.
• Refer customers to other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
• Potentially perform cash transactions, open or update accounts, and originate and close consumer or small business loans.
• Establish, expand, and maintain customer relationships by providing extensive, personalized service focused on each customer's needs.
• Assist on the Teller line as business needs dictate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
