About The Position

Orange County’s Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) is hiring a Relationship Banker to provide personal, relationship-focused banking service to members at its Chino branch. The role combines member service, teller transactions, account opening, consumer lending support, product recommendations, and problem-solving. The banker helps members navigate financial needs by understanding their circumstances and recommending relevant products and services. The position requires recent bank or credit union experience, including teller transactions, opening accounts, and consumer lending, as well as cross-selling and referring financial products. Candidates should be comfortable learning and using multiple systems and platforms. Spanish and Mandarin fluency are each identified as preferred in different sections of the posting. The schedule requires availability Monday through Saturday, with weekday hours between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturday hours between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Compensation is hourly and depends on experience, internal equity, and qualifying level: Member Service Rep IV pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour, and Senior Rep I–II pays $25.50–$27.00 per hour. Pre-employment background and credit checks are required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of recent experience in a bank or credit union.
Hands-on experience with teller transactions, new account openings, and consumer lending.
At least 2 years of experience cross-selling and referring financial products.
Clear, friendly communication that is professional and approachable.
Comfort learning and using multiple systems and platforms.
Availability Monday through Saturday, with weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Pass required pre-employment background and credit checks.

Nice To Haves
