About The Position

California Bank & Trust is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor Associate to support assigned branches throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas. The associate acts as a temporary Branch Service Manager, with assignments ranging from one day to several months, and may occasionally assist back-office departments or special projects. The role provides full-service banking support to new and existing customers and helps ensure branch customer-service goals are met. Driving is an essential function; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Requirements

Must be able to accept assignments throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas, ranging from one day to several months.
At least four years of experience in branch banking, including assignments as a Senior Teller and intermediate-level new accounts; a combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Considerable working knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations, and products.
Ability to perform multiple branch job responsibilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.
Ability to lead a team.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Support assigned branches throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas by acting as a temporary Branch Service Manager.
Open and close the branch, process daily reports, and provide approvals as needed.
Manage day-to-day branch activities, including teller-line duties, new accounts, and branch operations.
Resolve and respond to client service concerns, complex complaints, and questions.
Provide leadership and supervision to branch staff.
Occasionally work in back-office departments and assist with special projects.
Ensure high-quality customer-service goals are met.
Train staff on proper bank procedures as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
