About The Position

NexaMotion Group is seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to support the efficient flow of materials through its distribution facility. The role includes receiving, sorting, stocking, and maintaining inventory; locating and pulling products for outgoing orders; and packaging items for shipment. Team members move materials to and from loading areas and may use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material-handling equipment.

The work is physically demanding and involves standing, lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and other physical activities. Associates use a computer system to locate products and process incoming deliveries, maintain a clean work area, and follow equipment shutdown and lockout procedures. Some overtime may be scheduled and required, and travel may be needed as required for the role.

Requirements

• Computer skills sufficient to check email and complete online training courses.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to help satisfy customer requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience using a materials requirement planning (MRP) system such as AS400.

Responsibilities

• Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
• Package finished products for shipping by shrink-wrapping, boxing, and labeling them.
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when it is not in use.
• Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
