About The Position

The General Warehouse Associate works in the TJ Maxx Distribution Center Annex in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Associates are assigned to a specific department and supervisor but may work in another area as needed. The position offers hourly pay of $17.50 plus a $1.50 hourly shift differential, with the possibility of additional production-based pay. The workspace is clean and climate-controlled, and the role offers opportunities for advancement and promotion.

Available schedules are A-Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; C-Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.; and B-Shift, Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Count, select, and sort totes, boxes, merchandise, and other assigned items.
• Match receipts against purchase orders.
• Ticket merchandise or other items using gum labels, a ticketing gun, or pin tickets.
• Pack or unpack merchandise.
• Seal boxes for shipping after packing is completed.
• Handle materials weighing up to 10 pounds constantly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
