About The Position

AAA Central Penn is hiring a Branch Customer Service Specialist for its Harrisburg branch. This is a high-demand, customer-focused role providing personalized, face-to-face support to members and helping them make the most of their AAA benefits. The position offers a starting wage of $17.65 per hour and opportunities to grow while delivering service in a fast-paced branch environment. The specialist supports membership growth and retention, completes a range of member and PennDOT transactions, and connects members with AAA travel and insurance services. The role also includes specialty services such as passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency. AAA will support the employee in becoming a Pennsylvania Notary Public.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability and willingness to become a Pennsylvania Notary Public within 12 months.
Ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Police background check for PennDOT services.
Strong communication skills when assisting customers in person, by phone, or online.
Good listening skills and the ability to make helpful decisions.
Comfort adapting to new situations in a fast-paced environment.
Basic comfort using computers and multiple systems.

Responsibilities

Greet members warmly and provide personalized customer service in a fast-paced branch environment.
Assist with new memberships, renewals, and account updates to support membership growth and retention.
Provide member services, including maps, TripTiks, EZPass, and retail merchandise transactions.
Provide passport photos, International Driving Permits, and foreign currency services.
Become a Notary Public with AAA's support.
Complete PennDOT services, including title transfers, registration, and licensing transactions.
Refer members to AAA Travel Advisors and Insurance Agents when appropriate.
Promote AAA products and services by identifying opportunities to enhance the member experience.
Maintain AAA's service standards and ensure member interactions are positive and professional.
