About The Position
The Boxmaker is responsible for handling finished product and supporting product safety and quality. Duties include stacking and scanning finished product, operating an automatic wrapping system, testing the metal detection system, and assigning and tracking product lanes. The role also includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, completing sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties, and following safety rules and procedures. The employee will be certified to operate a fork truck and trained to place finished product into inventory and onto trucks. Other job-related duties may be assigned by a supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Ensure product safety and quality while performing assigned duties.
- Stack finished product onto skids.
- Scan all finished product.
- Operate the automatic wrapping system and wrap all finished product.
- Test the metal detection system to ensure it is working properly.
- Assign and track lanes for all product.
- Report food safety and quality problems or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties as necessary.
- Obtain fork truck certification.
- Train to put finished product into inventory and place it onto trucks.
- Perform duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties requested by a supervisor.
