Assist in coordinating the operation of all Special Events or Leisure Experience activities (i.e., ICE!, Best of Florida Christmas, SummerFest, etc.). This includes checking the status of operation, lighting, AV, cleanliness, and system operation, and correcting any aesthetic deficiencies. The role involves following training guidelines to support the direction of Special Events Manager and Assistant Managers, and monitoring and assisting with training for all Special Events employees. You will learn and operate software systems used in events such as ticketing, retail, inventory, and space usage, and resolve financial, inventory, and numeric discrepancies. The position also requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets. A key part of the role is welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Communication involves speaking with others using clear and professional language and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others and supporting the team to reach common goals are essential. You will comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, and identify and recommend new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, and the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
