About The Position
Pirates Voyage Box Office Agent Join the Crew! Do you enjoy working with people, providing great customer service, and being part of a fun entertainment environment? We are looking for Box Office Agents to join our crew! As a Box Office Agent, you will work in both our public-facing box office and phone room, helping guests before and during their visit. You will be one of the first points of contact for many of our guests, so a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude is essential. From helping guests with tickets and reservations to answering phones and resolving questions, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment our guests arrive.
Requirements
- Ages 16 and up
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with guests both in person and over the phone.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately learn and use ticketing systems.
- Professional telephone skills and a clear, pleasant phone presence.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while helping resolve guest concerns.
- Willingness to work both public-facing and behind-the-scenes box office duties.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in the box office with a friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for guests, assisting with admission, reservations, tickets, ticket changes, and other attendance-related needs.
- Distribute tickets to guests as they arrive for the show.
- Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about the theater, attractions, shows, and surrounding offerings.
- Assist guests with booking and reservation issues and professionally resolve mistakes or concerns.
- Accurately enter guest and reservation information into our ticketing system.
- Answer phones and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general information.
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Cross-train and work in multiple areas, including the public box office, greeting guests, ticketing, and phone reservations.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests.
- Consistently represent the company with a courteous, positive, and professional attitude.
