About The Position

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. This program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing their professional and interpersonal skills. Interns will participate in meaningful projects that support Kinder Morgan's vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world.

Requirements

• Candidate must be working toward an engineering degree and entering Junior or Senior year of college.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and desire to work in a team environment and to be able to work independently.
• Technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Development and review of safety and regulatory compliance tracking and reporting.
• Analysis of operational data and the development of performance and reliability metrics.
• Development and implementation of projects to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
• Miscellaneous pipeline and compressor engineering calculations and monitoring.
• Development of a capstone presentation to summarize activities and learning during BOLT Internship.
