The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. The company is a market leader in Natural Gas Pipelines, Products Pipelines, CO2, and Terminals, with a significant footprint of diversified and strategically located assets core to North American energy infrastructure. The Natural Gas Pipelines business unit operates the largest natural gas network in North America, serving major consuming markets and transporting approximately 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. The Gas Storage Engineer role is responsible for the field/well operations of salt caverns and depleted reservoirs used for underground natural gas storage. This includes knowledge of gas storage wellheads and wellbores, maintenance, risk analysis, reservoir and salt cavern well integrity support, compliance reporting for PHMSA and the Texas Railroad Commission, and the development and continuous improvement of related programs and systems. The Gas Storage Engineer will report to the Manager of Gas Storage Engineering.
