About The Position

i.g. Burton's Auto Group Collision Center is seeking a semi-experienced Body Shop Estimator who is willing to grow in the industry. The estimator interacts with new and existing customers, builds trust, prepares repair estimates, tracks vehicles through production, works with insurance adjusters, and prepares supplemental estimates after vehicles are disassembled and additional deficiencies are identified. The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, strong communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to meet the position's physical demands. Prior detailing experience is preferred, but training may be provided to the right candidate. The candidate must comply with company policies and service-quality standards and pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. i.g. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
Attention to detail.
Excellent customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Willingness to comply with company policies and uphold service-quality standards.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and background check.

Responsibilities

Handle insurance accounts.
Order parts.
Update customers on claims.
