We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator for our Florence Honda Collision Center. This is a Salary + Commission job, so income is unlimited.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience as an estimator with both CCC and Mitchell estimating software knowledge preferably.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Examine the damaged vehicle to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage.
• Estimates the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
• Reviews repair cost estimates with the body shop manager or foreman.
• Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
• Evaluates the practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before the accident.
• Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
• Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
• Estimates the cost of repainting, converting to special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
• Other tasks as assigned.
