About The Position

The Body Shop Detailer / Lot Attendant is responsible for washing and detailing vehicles after repairs, maintaining clean and orderly shop and vehicle areas, and transporting customers when needed. The role also involves moving vehicles, picking up or delivering vehicles or parts, checking vehicle cleanliness, and assisting body shop employees with general tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, takes pride in quality work, and provides friendly, professional customer service.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including bending and lifting.
Professional attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous vehicle detailing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Wash, clean, and detail vehicles after body repairs are completed.
Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable before customer pickup.
Take out trash, sweep floors, and maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
Keep the parking lot, detailing areas, and workspaces clean and orderly.
Safely transport customers to and from designated locations as needed.
Pick up and deliver vehicles or parts when requested.
Move vehicles around the lot and shop safely and efficiently.
Check vehicles for cleanliness and report concerns or damage to management.
Assist body shop employees with general tasks as needed.
Provide friendly, professional customer service.
