Bodily Injury Litigation Paralegal
About The Position
Demesmin & Dover is hiring a Bodily Injury Litigation Paralegal for its Fort Lauderdale office. This is an on-site position with no remote or hybrid schedule. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The hourly salary range is $28–$39. Candidates must have at least two years of legal-services experience working under an attorney or lawyer in a law-firm setting. An associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience and completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program are preferred. General litigation experience, preferably in federal court, is also preferred. Candidates receiving a job offer must undergo a background check after the offer is extended. A conviction does not automatically disqualify a candidate; each case is considered individually. The employer participates in E-Verify. Requirements
- At least 2 years of legal-services work experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law-firm setting.
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, and practices.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
