Bodily Injury Litigation Paralegal
About The Position
The Bodily Injury Litigation Paralegal works in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, supporting attorneys with litigation matters. The role requires experience in legal services in a law firm setting and knowledge of litigation processes, documentation, court rules, and procedures. This is an on-site position with no remote or hybrid schedule, working Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates receiving a job offer must undergo a background check; a conviction does not automatically disqualify a candidate, and cases are considered individually.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting.
- General litigation experience, preferably in federal court.
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, and practices.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience.
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program.
