About The Position
North Shore Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon BCBA for their Pediatric ABA program in Arlington Heights, IL. This role is designed for clinicians who have existing commitments in the mornings and are looking for meaningful clinical work in the afternoons. The position offers a flexible, afternoon-focused schedule, allowing BCBAs to build a weekly rhythm that fits their life. The role is not a placeholder but a genuine need for afternoon and after-school sessions, with the same caseload structure as full-time staff, scaled to part-time hours. Supervision is built into the hours, and BCBAs are part of a true interdisciplinary team, working alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers. The organization emphasizes good clinical practice, utilizing the in-house Gracent Care Calculator, and offers opportunities for career growth into Lead BCBA or Clinical Director roles.
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Licensed in the state of Illinois, and in good standing
- Availability to consistently cover afternoon sessions (flexible scheduling options available)
- Strong communicator who is proactive and detail-oriented
- Passion for serving children and families, especially those with autism and developmental needs
Responsibilities
- Carry an afternoon caseload
- Conduct assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in assent-based, neuroaffirming care
- Support parent training
- Supervise RBTs
- Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers on shared kids and afternoon coordination
- Run own intakes for families
- Hold documentation and treatment-plan standards at the same bar as the full-time team
