Blast & Coat Operator - Nucor Towers & Structures
About The Position
Nucor Towers & Structures is seeking a Blast & Coat Operator in Brigham City, Utah. The posting describes the role’s basic functions as those of a Material Handler (Loader/Unloader): unloading and receiving incoming materials into storage, supporting the receiving process for raw materials and warehouse parts, preparing materials for shipping, and loading panel bundles and accessories onto trailers. The operator inspects materials for damage, secures loads, and completes pre-shift equipment inspections. Safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards must be upheld at all times. Other duties may be assigned.

- Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Experience with tractor trailers.
Responsibilities
- Unload and receive incoming materials into the storage area using forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
- Participate in receiving raw materials and warehouse parts according to the purchasing team’s process.
- Ensure bundles of material are accounted for, properly packaged, identified, and staged for loading.
- Load panel bundles and package accessories on trailers.
- Inspect materials for damage before loading and during load securement.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
