About The Position
Nucor Towers & Structures is seeking a Blast & Coat Operator in Brigham City, Utah. The supplied job description’s basic job functions describe a Material Handler (Loader/Unloader) role. This role handles incoming materials and warehouse parts, stages and loads materials for shipment, inspects loads, and completes equipment inspections. Safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards must be upheld at all times.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Experience with tractor trailers.
Responsibilities
- Unload and receive incoming materials into the storage area using forklifts and/or overhead cranes.
- Participate in receiving raw materials and warehouse parts according to the purchasing team’s process.
- Ensure material bundles are accounted for, properly packaged, identified, and staged for loading.
- Load panel bundles and accessory packages onto trailers.
- Inspect materials for damage before loading and during load securement.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
