About The Position

The Production Lead is responsible for supporting the leadership team at Nucor Towers & Structures, developing teammates within the company culture, and overseeing and training teammates on the production line. The role monitors machine loading to maintain proper product flow, sets the production pace, maintains efficiency, and ensures quality. It also involves communicating production information to other departments and teammates, filling in for other line positions and the Supervisor as needed, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

Competence with Microsoft Office software programs.
At least 6 months of experience in steel manufacturing.
Ability to demonstrate commitment to safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of tower fabrication processes and procedures.
Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Be a positive member of the NTSIN leadership team.
Actively participate in developing teammates within the company culture.
Monitor machine loading to ensure proper product flow throughout the department.
