About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends, and by providing customers with an exceptional experience. The role also involves completing initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributing positively to the store team. The associate delivers engaging and authentic customer service, supports sales and operational goals, executes visual and digital sales strategies, and helps maintain a safe, organized, and clean store environment. They represent the PacSun brand, follow company policies and appearance guidelines, and work to improve their own performance and the overall customer experience.

Requirements

Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week and maintain schedule flexibility, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
Ability to talk or hear regularly; frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach, twist, or squat; and maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.

Handle customer situations according to policy, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership for escalated matters.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Support high standards of organization and cleanliness and promote a safe shopping and working environment.
Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; communicate violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship from store and BOPIS.
Represent the PacSun brand through passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by exhibiting core value behaviors.
Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines and help maintain the company’s fashion image.
