About The Position

Spare Time Entertainment is hiring a Birthday Party Host to help create enjoyable and memorable celebrations for children and families. Hosts prepare party spaces, welcome guests, coordinate activities and timing, assist with food and payments, and clean and reset areas for subsequent events. The role involves working with a team in a busy, high-volume entertainment environment and following Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.). No experience is needed; training will be provided.

Requirements

• Energetic, friendly, and ready to make guests’ days.
• Able to work well with children, families, and large groups.
• Reliable and comfortable in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Able to stand and move for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work weekends and peak party times.

Responsibilities

• Set up party areas and tables with the items needed for celebrations.
• Greet guests and help each birthday child feel special.
• Coordinate with guests and teammates to keep party schedules on track across bowling, arcade, and attractions.
• Help groups obtain bowling shoes, explain lane safety, and promote safe, enjoyable bowling.
• Guide party guests through the arcade, laser tag, or escape room, depending on the location.
• Take and place food and beverage orders and help deliver meals and dessert on time.
• Lead guests in singing during cake time.
• Clean and reset party areas for the next event.
• Assist at the front desk with party tabs and payments when needed.
• Follow Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.) and work as a team player.
• Help wherever needed to keep events running smoothly.
