Birthday Party Host (Part -Time)
About The Position
The Birthday Party Host at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester creates memorable birthday celebrations by welcoming guests, leading activities, and keeping parties engaging from start to finish. The role involves maintaining clean, organized, stocked party spaces, helping manage guest flow and party transitions, and following safety standards and opening and closing procedures. Hosts may also have opportunities to cross-train in other areas of the attraction. The position requires availability for three full days per week, including at least one weekend day. Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is noted. The role is in a fun, fast-paced attraction environment with crowds and loud noises. Candidates offered positions involving high engagement with children must complete Child Safeguarding Background Screening as a condition of the offer.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Available to work three full days per week, including at least one weekend day.
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident engaging with guests of all ages.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen and connect with guests.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt when it gets busy.
- Comfortable working around crowds, loud noises, and attraction spaces.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and passion for helping guests create memorable experiences.
Nice To Haves
- Six months to one year of previous experience in attractions, entertainment, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
