About The Position

The Bingo Floor Clerk supports bingo sessions by selling bingo cards, game packages, electronic bingo devices, and event tickets or pull tabs. The role is responsible for handling cash and inventory, helping identify and verify bingo wins with the Caller, distributing prizes, and assisting customers with game rules, payouts, and other information or services. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mathematical ability, prior computer experience, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 31–40 pounds. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour plus tips. Candidates must be able to work both day and swing shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
Mathematical ability and accuracy in accounting for large amounts of cash.
Previous computer experience to sell packs and specials.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
Ability to lift 31–40 pounds.
Ability to work both day and swing shifts.

Responsibilities

Sell bingo cards, bingo game packages, early bird packs, warm up packs, late bird packs, electronic bingo devices, and event tickets or pull tabs offered during a session.
Count issued bands at the beginning of the shift to verify the change fund balance.
Balance the running bank and issued inventories and be responsible for the cash drawer.
Work with the Caller to locate, identify, and verify bingo wins or multiple wins.
Assist with distributing prizes to winning players.
Explain bingo games, rules of play, and payouts to customers, and help them obtain other information or services.
