About The Position

The BIM Specialist at Power Design collaborates with engineers and other members of the preconstruction team to create innovative, value-engineered construction plans for large-scale projects. In a high-energy, fast-paced environment, the specialist works with project teams to draft accurate and cost-effective electrical design plans and coordinates with project management and the design team to produce high-quality drawings that meet project milestones and deliverables. The role also involves working with and preparing external references (xrefs), including architectural, mechanical, and plumbing drawings, for large-scale electrical projects.

Requirements

• At least two years of CADD experience working with programs such as AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• General electrical knowledge, including an understanding of NEC.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
• Focus on quality and take care to complete work accurately.

Nice To Haves

• 3D modeling experience.
