About The Position

HGA is hiring an Electrical BIM Specialist for its Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, office. The specialist will use Revit to support electrical design and produce project models and construction documents across healthcare, corporate, education, infrastructure, commercial, and science and technology projects. The role works under a Project Engineer and contributes to accurate, clear, and constructible designs. Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology, with a focus on Revit and BIM modeling.
Proficiency with Revit software.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with NFPA 70 or other building codes.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Two to four years of experience modeling lighting, power, and communications systems for healthcare, commercial, science and technology, and/or educational projects.

Responsibilities

Model project solutions and construction documents under the guidance of the Project Engineer, focusing on accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
Produce electrical design drawings using Revit.
Provide information to the Project Engineer for incorporation into design documents.
Ensure drawings and designs comply with design standards.
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
Keep the Project Manager informed about workload and deliverable status.
Refine and upgrade Revit standards and best practices.
