About The Position

The BIM Specialist at Power Design collaborates with engineers and other members of the preconstruction team to create innovative, value-engineered construction plans for large-scale projects. In a high-energy, fast-paced environment, the role works with project teams to draft accurate and cost-effective electrical design plans, and with project management and the design team to produce high-quality drawings that meet project milestones and deliverables. The position also prepares and works with external references (xrefs), including architectural, mechanical, and plumbing drawings, for large-scale electrical projects.

Requirements

• At least two years of CADD experience working with programs such as AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• General electrical knowledge, including an understanding of the NEC.

• Be motivated, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work in an ever-changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• 3D modeling experience.
