About The Position

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is hiring a BIM Coordinator to lead BIM/VDC execution for large, complex construction projects, initially focused on a major data center initiative. The role combines technical leadership and project coordination: managing models, leading multidisciplinary coordination, and collaborating with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. The coordinator will also help expand Mi-Tech’s long-term BIM capabilities by establishing standards, mentoring staff, and supporting the transition to fully in-house BIM execution. The position is project-based, with an initial on-site startup assignment lasting 2–6 months. Current project locations include the Milwaukee, Wisconsin; St. Louis, Missouri; and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas metro areas. The role expects at least four days per week on-site, with periodic weekend travel home, and requires travel for project-based assignments. A long-term home base is ideally at a Michels/Mi-Tech facility, with flexibility for senior candidates. Work includes office settings, coordination meetings, and active construction environments, as well as collaboration with distributed teams in Washington, Utah, Illinois, New York, and Oklahoma. Mi-Tech describes itself as a family-owned company founded in 1985 and part of the Michels Family of Companies. The company highlights high-impact infrastructure work, employee training investment, opportunities to build BIM capabilities, and a safety-first culture. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package.
