Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.)
- English: advanced
- Attention to detail: Must have
- Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
- Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Great team player
- Knowledge of MS Excel with the ability to learn new software
- Authorization to work in the U.S
Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers to provide support and information on accounts receivable issues and records in the MSC systems the customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Replies to customers’ questions regarding the payments they made and makes corrections in the MSC systems if necessary.
- Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
- Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
- Collaborates with the Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.
- Maintains and updates customer files.
- Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
- Performs other duties as required.
