About The Position

Ensemble is a provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, hospitals, and affiliated physician groups. The Manager, Billing Services supports the Director, Revenue Cycle in selecting, directing, and developing billing department team members and reports directly to the Director, Revenue Cycle. The role provides guidance to team members on problematic bills, billing-process questions, and best practices. It directly oversees associates and supervisors and makes decisions regarding hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.

The position manages department workflow and performance, monitors account quality and productivity, supports strategic planning and process improvement, and maintains policies and procedures. The salary range is $62,500 to $119,700, based on experience. Occasional travel may be needed for client assessment or at-the-elbow support.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of job experience.
• Ability to occasionally travel if needed for client assessment or at-the-elbow support.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EMR and clearinghouse systems.
• Experience in physician revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Report on department key performance indicators and meet client-specific benchmarks and best-practice standards.
• Manage daily department workflow, monitor progress for trends, and develop training or processes to address issues.
• Conduct huddles to cover new or evolving training priorities and support team development.
• Oversee progress and monitor worked accounts for quality assurance and productivity.
• Assist with strategic planning and conduct ongoing process-improvement evaluations.
• Review, update, and implement policies and procedures in support of organizational vision and goals.
• Directly oversee associates and supervisors, including decisions about hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Assist team members with problematic bills and questions about billing processes and best practices.
