Billing Manager
About The Position
A small-town hospital in Northeastern Minnesota is seeking a full-time, permanent Billing Manager for a direct-hire position. The position may be hybrid or remote, but applicants must be permanent residents of Minnesota. The Billing Manager reports directly to the Revenue-Cycle Director and oversees day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Business Office team. The role is responsible for precise billing, compliance, and serving as a direct liaison with clinical and other operational leaders. The hospital is in a wilderness gateway near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The surrounding community offers outdoor recreation, affordable housing, and local shopping and dining.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Finance, Health Administration, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of hospital billing work experience.
- At least 2 years of managerial experience within a healthcare facility’s billing department.
- Must be a permanent resident of Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations within the hospital’s Business Office team.
- Ensure precise billing and compliance.
- Serve as a direct liaison with clinical and other operational leaders.
