About The Position

The Billing & Collections Specialist generates accurate customer invoices, monitors accounts receivable balances, collects outstanding payments, and resolves billing discrepancies. The role works closely with customers and internal departments to support timely payment, positive business relationships, and the organization's financial health. The position is full-time and in-office in the Cincinnati, Ohio area; remote and hybrid work are not available. Compensation starts at $22 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of billing, collections, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze account information and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or billing software.
• Experience in business-to-business collections.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and aging reports.
