About The Position

Wisch Auto Group is seeking a hardworking, motivated Billing Clerk with a high level of integrity. The role is full-time and non-exempt, reports to the Controller, and is performed in person at 10150 Southwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77074. The Billing Clerk prepares invoices and credit documentation, records accounting transactions, compiles reports, and performs accounts payable duties. The position requires Saturday availability and up to 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must pass pre-employment screening, including a background check, drug test, and MVR.
Must have a clean driving record and have been licensed for at least 3 years to be insurable.
Must be able to work Saturdays and up to 40 hours per week.
Must be able to drive, stand, bend, and/or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Porter or valet experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare invoices listing items sold and services provided, amounts due, and credit terms.
Issue credit memorandums for returned or incorrectly billed merchandise.
Prepare credit forms for customers or finance companies.
Post transactions to accounting records, including worksheets, ledgers, and computer files.
Access computer files and compile reports as requested.
Perform accounts payable duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
