About The Position

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a Billing Clerk in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role assists across the Billing Department, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed in a timely manner. The Billing Clerk works with Project Managers to issue billings, maintains the billing log using AS400, and supports the supervisor and manager with work orders, paperwork, job submittals, and electronic inventory updates.

Requirements

Associate degree in Finance and/or Business, or equivalent work experience.
Must be a self-starter and able to work with a diverse group of construction personnel.
Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel.
Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AS400.
T&M billing experience.
AIA billing experience.

Responsibilities

Interact daily with Project Managers to get billings out in a timely fashion.
Maintain the billing log and track billing deadlines using AS400.
Interact daily with the supervisor and manager to assist with work orders and paperwork, job submittals, and electronic inventory updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
