Requirements

Experience with computer data entry.
Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
Ability to operate a 10-key calculator by touch.
Familiarity with data management software and basic accounting, or the drive to learn quickly.
A sharp eye for detail, even in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow directions accurately.
Strong customer service skills: professional, friendly, and courteous.
Flexibility and ability to adapt when priorities shift.
Self-motivation and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Must pass an FBI / California DOJ fingerprint background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of plumbing or construction terminology.
Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update records in QuickBooks and the company database.
Generate invoices for completed work.
Handle general office duties including word processing, copying, scanning, filing, answering phones, and other communications.
Review all service reports for accuracy before invoicing.
Enter reports accurately into web apps and other software.
Process and document customer payments, including checks and credit cards.
Stay current on updates to billing procedures.
Send invoices according to customer preferences.
Support the team wherever needed.
