About The Position

Miller Environmental Group (MEG) is seeking a Billing Analyst II to ensure timely, accurate invoicing to customers in a multi-location environment. This role involves follow-up communication with customers and liaison with corporate office or branch offices, as necessary. The Billing Analyst II will also produce reports from NetSuite related to billing and project results. This role is essential in keeping operations running smoothly and supporting teams doing meaningful, mission-critical work.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years project billing experience
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task and adaptive to flexibility
• Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines
• Detail orientated along with a high degree of accuracy
• Travel as needed; Ability to deploy to project site to complete billing function remotely

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Accounting Software such as NetSuite or Sales Force
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or business administration
• 7 to 10 years project billing experience
• Strong curiosity for process improvement

Responsibilities

• Gather necessary supporting documentation to produce accurate and timely billing for branch location(s) assigned
• Communicate regularly with branch offices to track status of in progress jobs and proactively anticipate and resolve potential billing hurdles
• Partner with cross functional departments on customer dispute resolution to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Process credits and rebills as needed
• Ability to oversee invoices with elevated level of complexity and escalations
• Generate billing and project reports as required
