Bilingual Teller
About The Position
Credit Union of Denver is hiring a Bilingual Teller to help members with everyday financial needs while gaining hands-on experience in the credit union industry and opportunities to grow into other roles. The position provides friendly, dependable service in English and Spanish, processes financial transactions, maintains a balanced cash drawer, answers questions, resolves concerns, and builds positive member relationships. This is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position at 9305 W Alameda Ave., Lakewood, Colorado. The schedule includes weekday shifts between 7:45 AM and 5:45 PM and Saturdays from 8:45 AM to 1:15 PM; employees working the Saturday schedule receive a half-day off during the week. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week, and overtime may be required based on business needs and company policy. The pay range is $20.66–$22.65 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for verified English/Spanish proficiency. Requirements
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous cash-handling experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A friendly, service-focused approach and a desire to help members.
- Interest in building knowledge and growing within financial services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and assist with everyday financial transactions.
- Provide friendly, dependable service in English and Spanish.
- Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other transactions.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Answer member questions and help resolve concerns.
- Build positive relationships and help members feel supported and valued.
