About The Position
Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a Spanish-speaking Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support its growing patient population in an outpatient setting. The role is suited to a fluent Spanish speaker with an interest in urology who wants to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Active, unrestricted state license.
- National certification as an NP or PA.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of urology experience is preferred; strong and motivated candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage urology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Provide direct bilingual patient care, communicating clearly and in a culturally competent manner in English and Spanish.
- Assist urologists with outpatient procedures as needed.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, laboratory tests, and imaging.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow NPs/PAs, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Stay current with urology best practices and clinical advancements.
