About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented associates to provide customer service and help customers identify appropriate financial products and services. The role offers hourly pay plus bonus incentives, with a stated pay range of $17.50–$18.50 per hour. Associates work independently while contributing to overall store performance and collaborating with the team. Store services may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines are essential. Travel is primarily local and may involve visiting more than one store in a day when necessary. Shifts are typically eight hours and may occasionally be up to 12 hours, in a secure, enclosed work area. California-required meal and rest breaks are provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, typically eight hours and occasionally up to 12 hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and listen actively.
• Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a secure, enclosed work area.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Spanish is welcomed in most markets.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ needs and recommend appropriate ACE products and services.
• Communicate effectively, listen actively, empathize with customers, and build trust.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster lasting customer relationships.
• Handle store services that may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality and follow industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and take accountability for overall store performance.
• Travel locally, including to more than one store in a day when necessary.
