About The Position

ACE Cash Express is seeking energetic, personable, sales-oriented individuals to work as Sales Associates. Associates use customer service and sales skills to help customers, support store operations, and maximize earning potential through hourly pay and bonus incentives. A $1,500 signing bonus is offered: $500 after 45 days upon successful completion of the New Hire Curriculum, and $1,000 after 120 days upon successful completion of 90 days of employment. Employees must be in good standing and on active status to receive payment.

The role focuses on understanding customers’ needs, recommending appropriate ACE products and services, communicating with empathy, and building trust through exceptional customer service. Depending on the store, services may include cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services. Associates are expected to prioritize accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines. The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, independent work, and accountability for overall store performance. Spanish proficiency is preferred in most markets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to listen actively, communicate effectively, and empathize with customers.
• Ability to work independently and take accountability for store performance.
• Ability to work 10–12 hours in a confined work area, subject to state-specific labor laws.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to sit, walk, reach, stoop, bend, communicate verbally, and actively listen.
• Ability to see clearly at close and distant ranges and adjust focus.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of retail experience is beneficial.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred in most markets.
